Thought you might like to know that the SF Asian American Film Festival will be screening "Na Kamalei: The Men of Hula" this coming Friday. For those of you who are familiar with Patrick Makuakane (kumu for hula halau Na Lei Hulu I Ka Wekiu), it is my understandng that this was the halau he danced with for years under kumu Robert Cazimero. Na Kamalei is the only all male halau in Hawai'i. Come out and enjoy the film and pre-show dance by male members of Na Lei Hulu I Ka Wekiu. For more info: www.asianamericanfilmfestival.org
